As BAI Teknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., we process your personal data collected through the Baseline application in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and related regulations. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Collected Data
The following personal data is collected to provide our services: Identity Information (name, surname, username, date of birth), Contact Information (email address, phone number), Location Information (city/district only — precise location is not collected), Payment Information (payments are processed via payment service provider infrastructure; card details are never stored on Baseline systems), Usage Data (reservation and lesson history, app usage statistics), Analytics and Measurement Data (your in-app interactions: type of content viewed, reservation and payment steps; device and operating system information; app version), Guardian Information (legal guardian email and phone for users under 18).
2. Purpose of Data Use
Collected data is used solely for the following purposes: Providing reservation and lesson management services, creating and managing user accounts, managing parental/guardian consent for users under 18, processing payments, sending notifications and reminders, responding to support requests, measuring app performance and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, fulfilling legal obligations.
3. Third Party Sharing
Your personal data is shared with our payment service providers for the purpose of processing payments. The payment service providers we work with offer PCI DSS compliant payment infrastructures. Limited analytics data is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. for the purpose of measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns and analyzing app usage. The data shared in this scope is limited to in-app interaction events (app launch, sign-up, login, content views, payment initiation and completion steps, together with the payment amount and currency) and device, operating system and app version information. Identity information such as your name, surname, email address, phone number, username or user ID is never shared with Meta; the advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID) is not collected. This data is anonymous measurement data that is not linked to your identity. As Meta Platforms, Inc. is located abroad, this sharing constitutes an international data transfer; the transferred data does not contain any identity information. Sharing with authorized institutions may occur in cases of legal obligation.
4. Data Security
Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption methods. Payment information is never stored on Baseline servers under any circumstances. Guardian consent records are retained for 3 years as required by KVKK. In the event of a security breach affecting data security, notification will be made within the legally required timeframes.
5. Notification Preferences
You can enable or disable push notifications, email and SMS notifications at any time from the Settings menu within the app.
6. Analytics and Advertising Preferences
You can limit personalized ads from your device's privacy settings. On iOS devices, you can limit personalized ads or reset your advertising identifier through the tracking and advertising preferences under Settings > Privacy & Security; on Android devices, through Settings > Google > Ads. Baseline does not collect your advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID).
7. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights: To learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used appropriately, to learn the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, to request deletion or destruction, to object to a result that arises against you as a result of analysis through automated systems.
